Treat Your Plantar Fasciitis
Plantar fasciitis is one of the most common foot injuries in runners today, and I can tell you from personal experience just how painful this condition is. It’s an everyday feeling of pain and burning in the arch of your foot. It’s usually worse in the morning, although my foot hurt all of the time.
According to Running Competitor…
Plantar fasciitis, also known as Runner’s Heel, is one of the most common injuries among athletes, characterized by a sharp pain in the heel and arch of the foot. Approximately 10 percent of runners will have plantar fasciitis in their careers. They’ll join scores of other athletes and non-athletes with this painful and strange injury.
Luckily, there are a few things that you can do to help decrease your pain, from foot rollers, to compression socks, and most importantly, exercises. The one very important thing you need to remember though, is to do these exercises every day!
